Today, there exists numerous organizations that fall under the categories of human rights, civil rights, and migrants’ rights. All these groups have roles that are almost similar. All of them want a society that respects the rights of human beings irrespective of the origin or the citizenship status.
The organizations are found in almost every country in the world. Even if there exist states that may not have rights groups, these states remain under the radar of international organizations that have a global outreach. The fact that there are no established rights groups in a country does not mean that the administration is free to break human rights laws at will.
The international community will move in to address the issue. A good example is Sudan. This is a country where human rights have been in jeopardy for a long time due to authoritarian leadership. The international community moved in and investigated cases of massive violation of human rights. This led to the international Criminal Court initiating a criminal case against the leadership of the country.
